Three-Day Lyrical Challenge – Day Two

We are back again with a second song this evening! I have always liked music, though as I have gotten older, I suppose you could say that we had a bit of a falling out…

Once upon a time though, I was a very heavily lyric-based song lover. I have been tagged by Joe @ Storeys of Stories for this three-day lyric based music challenge!

A little bit about the challenge:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you: AKA Joey from the blockΒ Related image
  2. Share one of your favorite songs/lyrics for three days (one song per day)
  3. Nominate three other bloggers each of those three days

ALL RIGHT! After being a super downer, I feel the need to share a very special (happy) song with you guys today!

Some of you may know that I am getting married next year! I am extremely excited, and while plans are in motion, we haven’t locked down too much yet. One thing that came easily for us though was our “first dance” song! We both had one in mind, and as it turns out, it was the same song! We both knew when it first came out that it was special; my fiance even said he knew it would be his wedding song one day. I give to you my lovelies, the ever wonderful and talented, Thomas Rhett

And I know that I can’t ever tell you enough
That all I need in this life is your crazy love

As sappy as it is, I tear up every dang time I hear this song. It makes me so happy, and I cannot wait to hear it at my wedding.

Thomas Rhett is quite a talent though. Fun Fact: that is his actual wife in the video. She is his sweetheart, and is now as famous as he is because everyone loves their love. He wrote a song about it called Life Changes. It is also fabulous if you can imagine. I know not everyone is into the whole country music thing. Truth be told, I am fairly new to it, only starting to listen when I met my now fiance. BUT I keep saying that Thomas Rhett is a good segway into modern country. He writes beautiful songs that are catchy and fun, and doesn’t sound overly “country.” He is deff who I recommend to non country music fans, so I hope you enjoy this song today.

We have now reached the point in which I am supposed to tag three more people, and let me tell you, this ish is getting difficult!

  1. Brittany @ Perfectly Tolerable
  2. Michel @ Raistlin0903
  3. Kelly @ Struggling Bookaholic

  1. I have always liked music a lot as well, but exactly like you as I grow older music and me have also had a bit of a falling out.
Thanks for nominating me though for this challenge. I’m running a bit behind on tags and but I promise to get to this one within the next two weeks. Especially since music is hardly featured on my blog, it will be interesting to do a series of posts on that 😊😊
Also: congrats of course on the wedding next year! πŸ˜ŠπŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸ˜Š

  2. Thank you so much for the tag, I’m so excited to do this one! πŸ™‚ This is a great choice! I never used to listen to country but I recently had a coworker start playing it at work and Thomas Rhett really stood out to me! I really like his voice and his songs πŸ™‚
